Principal User Experience Designer | 2019-present

  • Leading the user experience design effort for the AEC and MFG Toolkits, a series of research prototypes that integrate emerging and immersive experiences into Autodesk’s focus industries by experimenting with experiences leveraging generative design, XR, and AI.

  • Evangelizing the value and necessity of user research and human-centered design, as the sole User Experience practitioner in R&D, by fostering relationships and knowledge transfer with XD practitioners on product teams, and playing a leadership role within the Autodesk XD Research Community.

Senior User Experience Designer: Generative Design | 2015-2019

  • User Experience Designer for Project Dreamcatcher, a research prototype for generative design for the Manufacturing industry. Provided essential insights into the needs of Generative Designers, as well as connecting disparate technology modules into a seamless, easy-to-use application.

  • Provided transparent and sustained cross-team transfer of the user experience of generative design to the team responsible for the commercialization of Autodesk’s generative design product.

  • Initiated and facilitated a company-wide meetup series on generative design.

Senior User Experience Designer, Digital Aviation | 2014-2015

  • Led efforts to create brand and interaction design consistency across the suite of pilot-focused airline-facing mobile applications as the domain focal for Digital Aviation’s Seattle flight operations portfolio.
